This man was walking through Glasgow City Centre carrying this tub style chair, completely oblivious to the looks he was getting from some of the pedestrians in the area or perhaps just not paying them any attention.

When people are seen to be doing something which is not that really that unusual, but they are doing it in a public place, those around them tend to stop and look on in a puzzled manner. I imagine this is due to the brain not immediately recognising what is going on and it then takes them a few second to make sense of the situation.

On taking this photograph I was immediate;y reminded of a similar shot I took some years ago whereby a bunch of people were carrying a full set of chairs and a sofa through the Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow.
