Sometimes the best shots come when everyone except the bands official photographer has been kicked out the photopit after the 3 song rule. Here we have guitarist Doug Aldrich from the band getting as close to the fans as he can during the set. Also in the shot are vocalist John Corabi and guitarist David Lowy.
The bands set on the second day of the Winterstorm Festival, held in Troon, Scotland, was the absolute highlight of the weekend and was most certainly the tonic needed to remove any last remaining thoughts of the cold winters night outside.
The easiest way to describe the band is in their own words, the text being taken from their website, January 2019. ‘Since exploding onto the scene in 2013, The Dead Daisies have taken the rock music world by storm, releasing four studio and one live album to date whilst touring with some of the biggest names in Rock including: ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company, Judas Priest, KISS, Whitesnake, Def Leppard and the Hollywood Vampires.
With stellar musicianship and pulverizing live shows, fans worldwide are discovering that rock is indeed alive and well.
The current incarnation of The Dead Daisies features guitarist Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), singer John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream), bassist Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), drummer Deen Castronovo (Journey, Bad English, Hardline), and rhythm guitarist David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink).’
