The Edinburgh Festival Fringe certainly throws up some unusual sites and a man dressed in a costume whilst riding on an inflatable dinosaur is certainly one of the more bizarre ones.
This performer is part of a larger group who are one of the more regular attendees at the fringe. As this photo was taken he was just returning to take up his place on the Royal Mile after a short break.
He noticed me raising my camera and mediately went back into character for his photo to be taken. It is a long day for those who are trying to entice passers by to come to their show.
The constant need to be in “performance mode” and also giving out leaflets telling people about their shows really takes its toll hence why regular breaks are necessary.
