Glasgow, like many major cities, holds an annual Santa Dash where people dress as Santa Claus and run a pre-determined route through the city.

Each runner is registered for the race and has a specific charity that they have selected to donate monies given to them for completing the race.

Many participants bring their whole family, including their dog.
