Kentish Town Underground London March 2022

Kentish Town Underground

Towards the end of March 2022 I took one of the frequent trips I make to London, England. Usually these trips are for a specific reason such as to see a concert, attend the theatre, photography trips or for family holiday.

On this occasion it was to visit my Godson, Christopher. We had lost touch when he was very young and we recently reconnected some 24 years after I last saw him.

He has now grown into a the fine young man I hoped he would become and has a family of his own and a good career. The journey to his home was a little bit of a trip down memory lane for me and, as it transpired, the entire trip was a journey into the past.

This image is the entrance to Kentish Town Underground Station in North London. The last time I set foot in this station was almost 34 years ago and Christopher would have been about 3 years of age.

No doubt I would have been returning from time spend with friends who lived in Kentish Town and would be heading back where Christopher and his parents were living at that time.

This was the first in many happy memories that came flooding back over the course of the weekend.
