Sometimes the last shot of the day, the one you capture just as you were about to put your camera away and head home, turns out to be the best of shots. In my mind this is one such shot.

Captured as I was walking back towards my parked car, I observed this boy trying out some stunts on his skateboard and simply raised the camera and took the shot.

We had an exceptionally brief exchange of pleasantries though neither of us know each other names, I made a couple more shots and walked on.

It’s worth keeping the camera out of its bag until the last possible moment.
